How to create a ID Tag!

Hello everyone today I'm gonna be teaching you guys how to make a ID Tag! Here are the basic steps to create a ID Tag.

Step 1: you wanna use a normal square box that will be on the right hand side of your screen.

Step 2: You wanna change the square so it would look like this 

Step 3 you wanna use another material that would be on the right hand side called "Cylinder"

 Step 4. You wanna make the cylinder small and not to big so it won't make a massive hole, try make it small and then put the cylinder in the top middle. 

Step 5. Press Ctrl a at the same time and then press Ctrl g so it makes a hole in it.

Step 6 and final step: You wanna scroll down the "Basic Shapes" and find the one that says "TEXT"

Use the material that says "TEXT", use that for your ID Tag and make it small and put your signature on it then your all done.

Hurumanu P.E

Hello everyone today's blog will be talking about our experience in Hurumanu P.E so far. First  I'm gonna talking about body warm ups, 5 minutes, jogging 1, squats 10, side steps 20 and grape line. (To the first line and back) it was hard because we always and time to do it twice or more.

After we finished doing our body warm ups we had a few minutes sorting our game and doing some practice as well. After that was finish that period it was time to do some maths for the other period. The maths so far has been really confusing at the start but than it got a lot easier to understand.

I learned that there's a lot of different ways to solve the question instead of just guessing because you might get the question wrong. The question that we had to solve was how much money you would need to paint a whole football field and how many cans you would need to paint the football field. 

I reckon that working with the people in my group for the maths activity was really good because we got most of the answers right and we all had different ways to solve the question, I hope you have enjoyed my blog.

Hurumanu P.E.

Kia ora everyone I'm gonna be talking about what we did today in Hurumanu P.E.  First when we got into the gym and did our warm ups for a start. For our warm ups we did a little bit of jogging for a start than we did gate stretches after that it was period 4.

Period 4 we all had to sit down in the old gym and we had to listen to our teachers. We started to do our throwing and catching. After we finish doing the throwing and catching we got straight into our dodging for 10 mins or so. It was really fun working with others that we haven't work with before.

We also had to have a buddy so we can throw and catch at the same time, Me and Jesse were buddy's, we were throwing and catching the ball for 5 mins or longer. Tane Mahuta

Kia ora everyone today I'm gonna be telling you guys about what we did today and what we got completed today. First we started to finish off all of the work we didn't last week. Me and Kody were smashing the tables. Both of us got to use sledge hammers so we can destroy the tables down.

After me and Kody finished smashing the rest of the tables, Both of us decided to destroy some of the metal that the teachers told us to do, we got it completed on time for interval.

After interval a few of the year 7's and 8's had gym sports first we had to run to the field and back to mark near the courts. We had to do some exercising for 5 minutes or so. Than we had to go back inside of the gym and do the beep test, it was really hard but me and my other partner got up to level 11 it was hard effort but it was fun as well.

When all of us finish doing the beep test we went to have 2 games of dodge ball. Most of the students enjoyed playing dodge ball. At the end of gym sports we had to back to our classes and do some blogging.

P.E Hurumanu

Kia ora everyone, today we have been doing the beep test, it was really challenging and hard working for most of us. One thing that I want to improve is my long distance running because I use to be really good at it but now I've stop running for a while.
My score for the first day was.

Vertical Jump
    M1: 2.1

     M2: 2.51

Sit and Reach:

15.4

Sit Ups: 25

Grip Test:  20

Beep Test:7.1

It was hard keeping up to everyone else when it was getting harder, I'm gonna practice more in P.E hurumanu and in the weekends, and hopefully I get a better result next time. I enjoyed doing the beep test a lot but wish I could of done a little bit better, 

I hope we can do another hard challenge like this next time, I really wanna improve heaps by doing a jog at a park or just around the block. I wanna do more running in my free time, so I can get better at my long distance running again.

Fantastic Mr Fox

Today we were reading Fansatic Mr Fox, we were reading up to chapter 1, there was there 3 people that were mean all the time, the charters names were Bean the tall person, Boggis the fat person and Bunce the small person they all had a big farm together!!!

The story was mainly about the fox who stole a chicken from the farm than the 3 farmers got rage and wild because the fox stole the chicken from them. I have enjoyed reading this book so far its got a lot of details about the story,

1. What are we doing this term for Reading?  Fanstastic Mr Fox
2. By only looking at the cover, what can we infer or guess about the story? It looks like there's a happy fox and it looks like its gonna be a interesting story.
3. After reading the back cover, what do you think the story is about? Make a prediction on what will happen.  A fox that steals the 3 farmers food than the farmers get raged at the fox
4. Using your prior knowledge, why do you think I have selected this book for us to read! Cause its a chapter and both of our group haven't readied a chapter book before.

Narrative writing!!!

Kia ora everyone I have recently been working on my narrative writing and we have been writing a story about just a random story here is what I have been doing!!! Manaakitanga

It was the middle of the day, josh, jesse, Ashton and TJ On a nice sunny warm day were playing on the field, me and ashton were vsering jesse and josh in a game of 2 v 2. We were winning our game by 5-4 but than the bell ring. We needed to get to class quickly but than we were in a hurry, somebody left the football on the field last. We didn’t know who left the ball on the field last, but someone didn’t wanna tell the truth! We asked our teacher if we can go look for our football, we all went out to go looked were it was we thought we had it with us but we didn’t.  So we were looking for the ball for a long time, because we wanted to play with it at lunch. We had no idea where it was last, we all talked about who left it on the football field. 

None of us didn’t know, so we had a vote who we thought who left it there last. There was 1 vote for me, 2 votes for josh, 2 votes for jesse and 3 votes for ashton, we all asked ashton if he left the ball there and if he did forget to bring it back, we got told who it was! It was (AShton) he told us where it was last, he didn’t wanna tell us because he thought that we weren’t gonna be his friend anymore. 

So we decided to be friends with him again because he’s really kind and nice to talk too. So after we said that we would be his friend again. He said “Okay I won’t do it again” after we got the ball we went to the field to start playing football again. We didn’t know he wanted to be in which team. We all agreed to play the first person to score a goal will be the first captain than the second person to score a goal will be the other captain. The person who scored first me. Than the second one to score was jesse!!! I got the first pick so i ask if josh wanted to be in my team, so he said yes please. So it was me and josh vsering jesse and ashton in game of football. We played for 15 minutes because we spent 5 minutes asking where ashton putted the ball. So we got in the game straight away. We played full field because it was better than a lot more fun to play. My team were winning by 5-3 and it was in the first 8 minutes in the game.

Hurumanu art - Clay Making!!!

Kia ora everyone, What we have been doing is working on our clay since last term!!! Me and my group are focusing on painting to back ground and making the rest of our characters, the only characters that we gotta finish off is Goku and Thanos.

Me and Tamani are finishing off Goku and Thanos and Hamid is finishing off the back ground. Our theme of the back ground is of the galaxy because one of our choices what we decided on was a unknown galaxy, we have a portal that takes the characters to a unknown place.

I have enjoyed making clay because its really fun and you can do all shorts of clay too. One of our other team members hasn't been here for a while now so when he gets back we will tell him what has the be finish we should be having this finished by Friday. After we have finished making the clay and the back ground, we have to use stop motion the record our finished work.

Art-Hurumanu!!!

Kia ora today we have been doing art for our new hurumanu, Tz and Bh has been doing alot of drawing about a lot of writers. I have enjoyed it so far because I really like doing it and its fun as well. Today we have been doing a lot of drawing about small characters too.

My favourite put about this hurumanu so far is that we can do a lot of drawing and sometimes we get a choice about we want to draw. Things that I want to do in art is we can maybe make a story and put a little bit of art in it too so it stands out a little bit more,

P.E Hurumanu.

Today for P.E Hurumanu we were playing a game named Bench ball,  My team and I were named the pandas, there were 6 teams. The way how we played was there was 3 courts and 6 teams, 2 teams had to vs each other.  There was one person on the bench and all of the others were trying to pass to the person who was on the bench, you had to be on the opposite side from your bench. 2 people in the middle so when the person throws the ball up high the 2 people in the middle have to jump and try to pass it to there teammates.

I reckon that we did some good passing when we were versing the other team. I reckon my team needed to do more communication around our team mates. But most of the time we all team worked and were passing the ball. even if one person didn't get the ball we would pass it to them. So I reckon that it was good enough. My goal was to have a positive attitude around my teammates and to include my teammates too.

I reckon me and my teammates need to work on seeing if there is opens space's for other people because they always come to one side and so there could be someone on the other side too. I know that I gotta work on passing more because not much people really try to help me. Here is a photo of bench ball. Creative Writing.

Today we are doing creative writing and 7/8Bh and 7/8Tz have to write about a song named happier and the video, we got to choose if we wanted to be a girl or the dog I have decided to be the dog because I really like dogs and I have never thought about being the dog in the story.

Hello, my name is Mason and when I was woking up by the person who was buying me from the vet. I was a nice dog, I loved to play a lot so when the guy toke me away he said you are coming to see your, new owner, it was a little girls birthday and I was excited to get cuddled by her. Then when the day came I was shy at the start but then when I saw her I was so happy because I have finally had a owner that will take care of me.

Since she got older I have been seeing how tall she has been going for the last 5 years, Since she turned 17 she was getting bulled because she had braces and the girls in her football team didn't like her.  When it was photo time she was in the middle who had the ball and then one of her teammates grabbed the ball and then she had to go to the back row, She was upset for ages but when I saw her like that I tried to gave her a cuddle but every time that happen she was feeling happy.

One day I was getting really sick and I couldn't move when my owner saw me she was really scared because I wasn't feeling good. She called her mum and dad, After they picked me and my owner and we went to the hospital. I couldn't see anything because how sick I was, I started to close my eyes in then they couldn't feel my heart beating they told my owner that I passed away she was crying for a long time. When she had her own child she was happy what her brother got her child. It was a dog she was so happy because that's what she would want for her child she started to smile because that's what happen when she was a kid too. They toke a beautiful picture and then she put it next to the photo she was in when she was a kid to that is the end of the story.

Today for hurumanu music was had to do a sentence to do with three options there was: The loud music, She played the guitar, He was singing. The one what I choose was The music was loud here is what I've done.
