Business Enterprise study

Kia ora, today we have been talking about money and how to use it. We got told to write either a T chart or mind map. I wanted to do a T chart because I reckon that it would be a little easier to do. I had some pretty good ideas with it I hope you like my ideas.
I hope you enjoyed my blog, please leave a positive, helpful and a thoughtful comment down below bye now.

Science.

Atmosphere - how you feel in a sitiuation mood.

1. Scene Auggies first day at school - When Auggie walks into amos says the seat is saved.
Angles/Shot - long shot / eye level of class close ups of Auggie to see his emotional reactions

Lighting + colours -
Palette - colours used in the scene e.g nature palette has colours from nature - brown, green.
           Warm/Cold - warm makes feel safe/comfortable - cold makes feel clean/ stripe.
           Bright - vibrant, jumps out
Dull - faded muted, blends in
          Natural - sun/moon light
Artificial - Man mode light e.g nightclubs.

Lighting + colours - warm - makes the classroom feel safe & welcoming.
                           - Bright colours - gives room energy & life.
                           - Natural -  light coming through the windows.
Effect on the viewer  - Happy, chilled, exciting, educational, inspiring.
Director   - Wants to be create a happy and safe atmosphere in Mr Browns classroom. Even though feels this way, Julien & Amos's behaviour is unkind.

In the scene of August's first day at school, lighting & colour are use to create a safe and welcoming classroom environment. For instance, bright warm colours are used on the walls and natural comes through the windows to make the space look lively. This makes the audience feel excited, inspired, and that space educational and supportive for learning. This was done to show Mr Browns has created a classroom space that would be welcoming to newnStudents like Auggie.

Coinciding with this is the use of body language. The children in the room are sitting up, smiling and paying lots of Attention; They are learning ready.  This reminds the viewer of the theme kindness because the ligting and colour make the room welcoming for all students.

Business enterprise study.

In business enterprise studies we are look at a threw ideas to get us started. one of the pictures that we had to think about was this. The waterfall slide looks a little bit scary if you were going around the Waterfall slide.
This one makes more sense because that's where baby's go when your taking them out for a walk. It's also a good idea if you don't have a car, you can just take them to day care with the pram. It will also be helpful for people who need something like this.
The Van Boat is a creative idea because most people don't really think about creative something like this. People just usually use boats and all of that kind of stuff. I also reckon it would be really fun riding the Van Boat.
This is a Hedge Trimmer, the Hedge Trimmer is kind of confusing idea/object. It looks really useless because what happens if they vehicle breaks or if it just drops flat to the ground.

It wouldn't be a good idea to be up that high cause if someone have's a fear of heights, your basically doom. You have to pay for a crane.
you could use a chainsaw with a ladder. The rope could snap and cause injury. Also how do you drive the lawnmower as there is no solid ground for the wheels.

Inside and out.

Kindness - respecting others, look after others, speak nicely, include others.
Example 1 - Summer sits with August.
This shows the theme of kindness because summer left the kids who were saying neam things to go and sit with August who looked lonely. Kindness is important to the story overall because without it Auggie will not build confidence, make friends and feel accepted.

Example 2: Auggie shows kindness when he shares his answers with Jack. This links the theme because Auggie sees someone in need, Jack isn't even his friends yet,  but helps him anyway.
This is imprtant because it is the first step to enabling Auggie to make friends, being kind starts this friendship that will be important later in the film.

Importance of family - through these relationships Auggie & others learn the values of trust and self & confidance. They are less alone.

Example 1: The scene where Miranda talks about spending christmas with the Pullmans.
        - links to theme - Miranda is happy & included by the pullmans
                                 - She is ignored / forgotten at home
                                 - She realises that she missses having friends/family.

  - Important because makes Miranda an effort recognise what she's lost / misses and she makes to recnnect with Via and the Pullmans.

Example 2: The boys come to rescue Jack & Auggie.
- Auggie is included, has friends and is feeling trust & self confidnet.
- Ulitmate example of acceptance & friendship, his classmates had his back without him asking. First they treat him as an equal.

Being kind vs Being popular - doing the right thing even when your friends don't, other pressure you.

Example 1: Julien. Picks on Auggie infront of others, Auggie is an easy target, it makes Julien look popular when the others laugh.

Link to theme - Julien choses to be popular at the expense others, choses to bully Auggie to seem popular.
- Important because it shows chosing popular has negaitive outcomes. Julien eventually loses his friends, leaves school and is unhappy. However jack, who chose kind, has lots of friends, is happy & doesn't get kicked out for bullying.

When given a choice between being right or being kind. Choose kind.
                                                                                     - Summer.
