Digi Tech.

I have been working on a project for my digital tech class. I had a problem that I had to make something about. My problem is an ethical issue and the issue is sea pollution  I created a really good parkour stage in gamefroot it starts to get harder every time.

Its going well and is nearly finished. Trying to manage how it works and the coding is sometimes hard but it can be very easy. It was hard to make at the start as I didn't know how to use scratch but after getting used to how it works it was easy to do.

If I was to change anything about how I worked on this project and what the project was I would try and work with someone as I ran out of ideas very quickly and it took me a while to think of what to make.

I would also use a different site instead of gamefroot as it limits. Item adding site. I would probably use the site scratch as I saw a lot of people use it and it looked very fun to use.

P.E Hurumanu

Kia ora today we are final finish our P.E hurumanu for 2019. Its been really great doing P.E hurumanu and really fun learning about different sports and the rules as well.

What we did today was mini games of basketball and it was a competition to what ever team won the most. Sadly we lost 1 game and won 2 games. Crispy Chicken won all of the game and was known as the winners.

When we had to share around last term we we teaching the other group how to play dodge ball, First we had to do our warm ups, It was running around the field once than going back inside and doing some more warm ups.

We played a lot of different ways in dodge ball. Some of the games of dodge was if you got hit you had to sit on the side line until a new games starts. We played another way that if you got hit you had to go down to the other teams and try catch the ball that your team mate has thrown to you.

Things that work was we all had a time to tell the other groups what's gonna happen. Things that we could of done better was making the teams a little bit even. 2 things what I've learnt about each sport is that you need to do team work to score goals and another thing is that don't been bossy with that ball and give others chance to have a turn.

My favourite part about P.E was that I got to try some different sport that I haven't really done before.

DMIC Maths

Kia ora today we have been finishing off our DMIC Maths hope you enjoy.

  Matiu will get $1 for the first day he works, but for each day he works from then on his pay will double. $1 $2 $4 $8 $16 $32 $64 $128 $256  $512 $1024 $2048 $4096 $8192.

There's 14 days in a holiday and everyday he gets a double of that amount, so its double of each one so like 2 + 2 = 4 than 4 + 4 = 8, You add it up until until you get up to day 14 than you add it up all together than it = $8192.

Ariana will get $10 for the first day she works and two more dollars for everyday she works after that.  $10 $12 $14 $16 $18 $20 $22 $24 $26 $28 $ 30 $32 $34 $36. 

Because for the first day she starts with $10 than you double it by 2 until you gets up to day 14 so it will = $36 all together.

C.I.P

Kia ora today we have been working on the garden, we have been taking out all of the weed that's been in the gardens since we left it last term. first we had to take all of the plants that we didn't need to grow. We did it until period 2 was finish.

Second period we did gym sport, our first game we did was kick long ball we got into 2 teams and one team had to kick the ball and make sure they don't catch the ball that it was time for the other team to do the same thing. Second game we played was multi sport, but the other team won the game. When we finished gym sport. Went back to do what we did at period 2.

Mega Air Experience

September 25th 2019 the year 7's & 8's went to Mega Air for a fun day. My experience about going to Mega Air was that there's a lot of trampolines and that it's heaps of fun too. The classes that went to Mega Air first was Bh, Ts, Tz and Sh. 

2 classes went down to Mega Air a time. When we finally got to Mega Air we had to take our shoes and socks off because it's one of the rules at Mega Air, when we took our shoes and socks off we had to wait until one of the leaders from Mega Air to turn on the TV so we can just watch a quick video. After the video was finish we had to walk into the trampoline area and not run because someone could of badly hurt their foot if they were running.

Things what I really liked about Mega Air was that I could do flips that I haven't done in a long time. we were there for 1 hour but most of the times I was just doing flips with some other friends. I hope we can go to Mega Air again cause it's really fun and I enjoyed. Nothing was boring there because there was at least something fun to do there. When it was finally finished we had to go back where the shoes were and put our shoes and socks on than head back to school.
