Today for metal work we had to finish off our ID Tag. We have also finish making our ID Tag shiny. It took a while to make because we had to polish it. I completed my ID Tag but didn't put letter on it. Here's a picture of my work!!!
The steps how to make it is.
Get a strip of aluminum
Mark the metal for where you want to cut
Saw the strip of aluminum to around 45mm
After that put engineering blue for where you want to file down to
Then file to 45mm or as close as possible
Then we scratched the metal where we were going to drill
After that, we used a compass in the middle then rotated it to show where we were going to file. Then we file Next, we buffer the metal so it looks shiny.
